St Peter's Street

Looking up St Peter's Street towards the church. This is a very pretty
street with some lovely houses and also the Bunch of Grapes pub that I must
go in at some point.

The last house on the right before the church gates used to be a girls
school and was supposedly closed down after a French Napoleonic prisoner of
war threw over a love letter to one of the girls!! A large scandal in the 1800s!

  1. Does the pub just do wine? Maybe "A Bunch of Grapes [and a handful of hops]" might be more appropriate! ;)

  2. The Bunch of Grapes is a good name for an English pub.
