But it now has a more trendy (and expensive!) rival called Friends. Both these restaurants are in buildings that used to be pubs. This is a very pretty<br />street with some lovely houses and also the Bunch of Grapes pub that I must<br />go in at some point. <p>The last house on the right before the church gates used to be a girls<br />school and was supposedly closed down after a French Napoleonic prisoner of<br />war threw over a love letter to one of the girls!! Went here once for a service but<br />got a bit frightened as I don't know what you're supposed to do during<br />communion (I thought that was only for Catholics?!). Felt like a heathen<br />staying in my seat whilst everyone else got up!
